 Powercolor RMA (TSK TSK TSK)

So, I purchased two brand new Powercolor 6950 HD 2GB video cards. Obviously, I have an XFire ready motherboard and... well... I threw them in there faster than a fat kid can polish off a cupcake. Well, needless to say, despite my amazing installation... the top cards fans hit the bottom cards screws. (They are very prominent on these models). In short, I'm getting sick of waiting for them to replace something that is very much their fault. After some research online I found out I am not the only dorknod that has had this type of incident occur. They've made double wide cards that are simply far too wide.

I won't be buying from Powercolor again and having to "Place spacers" in between my video cards simply so they function as advertised pisses me off. Now for my question... does anybody have any idea what to use as a spacer?

if you're going to get an AMD card, I would go with either Sapphire, or XFX. XFX has a dual lifetime warranty, so if you ever sell it the other person will also have a lifetime warranty on it.

If you're going to go with NVidia. Then I would get EVGA. These are the companies I have always bought from and never had any problems.

To answer your actual question...

Can you post up a pic with the space issue and perhaps a ruler next to it so I can see what the actual clearance is?

Once I get a better idea of what kind of space you need.
